Rajshahi Warriors pulled off an incredible comeback to beat Rangpur Riders in a Super Over after the regulation 20 overs finished in a tie in the 8th match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2025-26 at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

Both teams ended the match with identical scores of 159 runs, but Rajshahi clinched the win in the Super Over to take the early lead in the tournament.

After winning the toss, Rajshahi Warriors elected to bat first and put up a competitive total of 159 for 8 in 20 overs.

Sahibzada Farhan was the highlight with a fluent 65 off 46 balls, while Najmul Hossain Shanto contributed 41.
